I think my colleague are trying his best to “isolate” me from any task. Thanks to my “bizarre idea, and outspokenness” during last meeting with ze boss.
Shit shit shit! And now back to square one, almost no task (except market research which initially it was his, and now he asked me to take over). Urgh, I shouldn’t have been so “outspoken” specially when I’m still a newbie.
Abah said “it’s okay with being outspoken, but there’s consequences” and I’m not sure what it was till it hit me…now. Shiiiiiiiiit!
On a bright side, few people are starting to take up my advice on the management of tasks. Whee :) I heard my name being said many times :) they were like “why did you change this to that?” “oh, it was maryam’s idea, pretty neat huh?” and I’m like :) :) Alhamdullilah :)
But still, the “isolation” issue sucks! “tak boleh tunujuk pandai sangat, nanti orang jealous”

Since I got nothing else to do in the office (except market research task. Which I wish I could just scrap it all), I was bored most of the time. So lately, I found a way to not to look bored, and tolet people see that I was busy as hell (haha).
So jot this down people!
1) took out a pile of files (which you already read/analyze)
2) scatter few papers on your desk
3) open previous work on your desktop, make your desktop look ‘busy’ with open files
4) turn on google news, business-related news ofcourse
5) take out a pen and paper
6) finally, start scribbling people! Focus on your scribble
6.a) I bet you, people will come to you and say “um hey, you look busy. Wana take a break for awhile?”
Muahahahaha, I ain’t busy dolls! I was just bored :D
